When wi-fi, 3G and/or USB modems were MIA in Africa, I used my iPhone as a personal hotspot to keep up with our blog—and ran up a $2,900 bill in the process. Miraculously, in an unprecedented and random act of kindness, AT&T waived these charges before I even asked. The down side? Me: Thanks!
Daquon D: I am sorry for the wait.
Me: It’s OK.
Daquon D: Thank you for your patience. You will need to call Analyst Review at [800 number]. Hours of operation are (times are EST) Monday through Saturday 8 a.m.—10 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m.—9 p.m. This team will need to review your credit on your account. This is not allowing me to restore the account.
Me: Is it possible to do a pay-as-you-go phone instead of restoring my previous service package? Also, I can’t call them because I don’t have a phone. Is this something I can do in-store?
Daquon D: Yes, you can also do a pay as you go phone. You can call our Go Phone team at [800 number]. Hours of operation (times are EST) Monday through Friday 7 a.m.—10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m.—7 p.m.
